About KiddieWordle
A free word game for kids built by parents, with no accounts, no tracking pixels, and no ads served to children under 13.
Why we built this
Most "kids' word games" on app stores either lock the good content behind a paywall, run intrusive ads between every screen, or require a parent account that quietly tracks the child's usage. As parents ourselves, we wanted something simpler: open the browser, play a round of word puzzles, close the tab. That's it.
KiddieWordle started as a weekend project so our own kids could practice spelling without us handing over a phone with TikTok one swipe away. It worked. Friends asked for the link. We cleaned it up and put it online. Today the game runs on any modern browser, on any device, and costs nothing to play.
Who we are
KiddieWordle is one of several small family-friendly projects we publish under Legacy Bridge Alliance Group — our family holding company. Our sister brands include KiddieSketch (custom sketch products) and KiddieGo (outdoor and active kids gear). The same family runs all three. The same values run through all three: useful things, made honestly, priced fairly, no dark patterns.
What KiddieWordle is
- A guess-the-word puzzle for ages roughly 3 to 12, in the same family as the popular adult game but built around child-friendly word lists.
- Multiple difficulty levels from 3-letter "Tots" mode up to 9-letter "Genius" mode — one game grows with the child.
- Coming soon: Hangman, anagram scramble, and word search modes, plus more language packs (Hindi, Spanish, and Marathi are next on the list).
- No accounts. You don't create one. We don't store one. Your progress lives in your own browser only.
- No data collection. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking. The only third-party code on the site, when present, is Google AdSense — clearly labeled in our privacy policy.
Our principles
- If a child can play it alone, it shouldn't require an account.
- If a feature exists to extract attention, it doesn't belong in a kids' product. No streaks pressuring daily play, no notifications, no "you broke your record!" anxiety loops.
- Free should mean free. If we ever charge for anything, it's a clearly-labeled optional thing, never a wall around the core game.
- Privacy by default. Even if we could legally collect more, we don't want to.
What's next
We're actively building out the game library, adding language packs, and shipping a free teachers' mode that lets a classroom play together on one screen. If you have ideas, we read every email at /contact.
Thank you for letting your kid play.
